Alyssa Paul, LCSW
Alyssa is a Licensed Psychotherapist who is passionate about working with clients struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression. Alyssa’s specialization expands to working with adolescents experiencing Trauma, Bullying, Low Self-Esteem and Disruptive Behavior.
Alyssa attended Rider University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then went on to Kean University, obtaining her Master Degree in Clinical Social Work. Throughout her career Alyssa has acquired an eclectic understanding of mental health and psychotherapeutic services. She completed her educational training at a therapeutic school that provided educational, therapeutic and psychiatric services to students. She provided individualized mental health therapy, facilitated emotional regulation and life skill groups as well as working alongside students in the classroom. Alyssa has specialized training in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
Alyssa has experience in a variety of mental health settings including Substance Use, Developmental Disorders and severe mental illness. She has worked alongside families and couples to help alleviate psychological, social, occupational and relational issues.
